Today is the launch of the new American 787 Dreamliner service with an inaugural flight this morning from Dallas-Fort Worth to Chicago O’Hare.

We all know jet engines are big... but these suckers are huge! — We all know jet engines are big… but these suckers are huge!

I had a chance to preview this aircraft last week and she’s a true beauty.

I’ll be joining the flip side of today’s inaugural service – meeting the arrival in Chicago and catching the return back to DFW. Missing the inaugural but joining the return is like skipping the room but crashing the after party.
